Our group: The beginning
Our story began in 1930, with the origins of a Chilean maritime company that connected the South Atlantic and South Pacific through the Strait of Magellan. That pioneering spirit gave rise to a logistics group that has grown across oceans and generations.
In 1960, AGUNSA was founded, expanding from port agency services to a global logistics platform. Later, the creation of GEN, our holding company, consolidated that growth and opened the way for new international ventures. Rooted in this legacy, AGUNSA Global Solutions (AGS) was established to lead the group’s operations in the Northern Hemisphere, bringing decades of maritime and logistics expertise to new markets.
